Last week Dan and I went on a vacation with my family. It was really a great time! We went up to Burley (well, almost Burley, but who cares about that detail?) and camped at an RV Park where Dad has been staying for work. It was a nice camp, with full grown trees, a park, showers, bathrooms, a swimming pool, and we were within walking distance of the Snake River. We hung out together at camp, talking and playing games; we went to see the Shoshone Ice Cave, Mamoth Cave (which was kind of a joke, but the museum was cool. They had animals that had been stuffed in this museum from all over the world. You could've spent days in there and not seen everything), and we also went to see the Shoshone Falls, Twin Falls, and the new Twin Falls temple. It looks a lot like the Rexburg Temple, except it's a lot smaller.
Justin took Darlene fishing and she caught one! It was pretty exciting to see her try to reel it in and then hold it so we could take pictures. She didn't really like that the fish kept flopping around! It was a priceless moment!
Dan and I had to leave part way through to go to a wedding for a friend, and the family stayed at camp and played games, did crafts, and went swimming. After Dan and I got back we went to the Snake River with a friend of my dad's who has a boat, and we played in the water and some people went boating and tubing.
It was a really fun time and it was great to see the family again!
